International Choral Festival of Preveza becomes a member of Choral Festival Network (CFN)

Preveza International Choral Festival, Greece, has been recently invited to become a member of
CFN, the prestigious Choral Festival Network. CFN – the international network for choral
competitions and festivals - is a network of qualified international festivals and competitions whose
intention is to give fair and transparent participants' conditions to choirs and individuals. To receive
such a public acknowledgement is deeply satisfying and is testament to the work of the Festival
Committee over many years, and its breadth of vision in developing choral life and experience both
nationally and internationally. Preveza International Choral Festival is organised under the auspices
of the Choral Society “Armonia” and offers opportunities for both competitive and non-competitive
participation for choirs of high international standing. As a member of CFN, Preveza is now publicly
recognised at international level as the pre-eminent choral festival in Greece with a deserved
international reputation for its standards, organisation, and welcome. To be numbered as a
member of a select network which includes such high profile international choral festivals as Béla
Bartók Choir Competition, (Debrecen) Hungary; Cork International Choral Festival , Ireland;
European Festival of Youth Choirs, (Basel) Switzerland; Florilége Vocal de Tours, France;
International Chamber Choir Competition, (Markrtoberdorf), Germany; International Choral Festival
